A sculptural workshop themed on "Traces of Living Things" was held on the grounds of a hotel on Shodoshima Island. Organized and led together with Little Duck, a local theater company, the event took shape as The Termites' Touch workshop.
The workshop unfolded in three parts: Discovery, Experience, and Making. Participants first ventured into the forest, searching for quiet traces left by living things — bark, fallen leaves, the marks of insects feeding, the shed skins of creatures that had moved on. In the second part, families worked together to wrap their bodies in aluminum foil and peel it away — a way of feeling, for a moment, what it might be like to molt. In the final part, the foil peeled from their own bodies was shaped by participants' hands into mushrooms, branches, and other forms of non-human life.

「生き物の痕跡」をテーマにした造形ワークショップを小豆島のホテル敷地内で開いた。The Termitesの「触れる」ワークショップとして、地元の演劇団体リトルダックとともに企画・実施したものだ。ワークショップは「発見」「体験」「造形」の3つのパートで進んだ。まず森へ出て、樹皮や落葉、虫の食痕、脱皮殻など、生きものが残したかすかなしるしを探した。
次に、脱皮を体験するワークとして、アルミホイルで自分の身体を型取りし、それを剥がす体験を親子で行った。最後に、自分の身体から剥がしたアルミホイルは参加者の手によって、キノコや枝など、人間以外の生き物の姿へと変わっていった。
