VIVA Excon Aklan 2025

2025年11月21日から23日にかけて開催されたVIVA ExCon Aklan 2025において、皿井明日夏、ジャック・ジェームズ、升谷絵里香は、「Termite Symbionts」と題し、The Termitesの活動を紹介しました。また、BakhawanEco-Parkでは「Voices in Mangroves」と題するワークショップを実施し、そのプロセスの痕跡をマングローブ林に残しました。さらに、ビサイヤの島々から集まった参加者との対話は、島々に流れる共通の感覚を媒介として、渡り鳥の視点へと思考を開く契機となりました。

At VIVA ExCon Aklan 2025 (November 21–23, 2025), Asuka Sarai, James Jack, and Elica Masuya presented Termite Symbionts, introducing the activities of The Termites. At Bakhawan Eco-Park, they conducted a workshop titled Voices in Mangroves, leaving traces of its process in the mangrove forest. Through dialogue with participants from across the Visayan islands, a shared insular sensibility emerged, opening thought toward the perspective of migratory birds.

Friends and family reside here in the mangroves. Listen closely to diverse species while walking on the boardwalk. Enjoy flags along the way reminding us of more than human kin. They are also listening too.
